Carn had the first chance on 8 minutes when Kyle Cooke crossed from the left for Mark Scott who shot wide from fifteen yards. But it was Cranford who broke the deadlock six minutes later when Naoise Cullen’s cross came off the defender and fell to Ethan Ferry who drove a powerful shot to the top right corner of the net from inside the area.
Cranford kept the pressure on and they had a chance to double their lead midway through the half when Jack McCauley made a great pass from midfield to find Cahir Sweeney who beat the defender but fired high and wide when well placed twelve yards out. Carn equalized before the interval after Mark Scott made a great run and chipped the defender to find Dayton Cooke who slotted the ball to the bottom right corner of the net from twelve yards. The home side went ahead five minutes into the second half when Dayton Cooke crossed for Mark Scott who lobbed the ball over Cranford keeper Jason Hegarty into the centre of the net from twenty yards. Carn increased their lead on 57 minutes when Shegan Doherty made a great run on the right wing and passed inside for Mark Scott who slotted the ball pass Hegarty into the bottom right corner of the net from fifteen yards. Cranford had a chance to reduce the deficit then when Naoise Cullenrounded a defender and laid it off to Paddy McGeever but he failed to hit the target when well placed. But the home side added a fourth goal in the 69th minute after a Tiernan Diver free kick on the right found Darragh Doherty who drove a powerful shot to the bottom right corner of the net from eleven yards. Within a minute the home side added a fifth goal when Tiernan Diver went on a great run beating the defender and fired t the top corner from inside the area.. Cranford tried to pull one back when Conan Dorrian crossed for Naoise Cullen but he failed to hit the target.

From the kick off the visitors pressed hard with Conor Mc Closkey testing the Gweedore keeper James Doherty.Minutes later Mathew Mooney broke through the defence with a fine solo run only to be denied by the keeper. Rovers playing with the wind at their backs kept good possession and a corner won by Rovers was well delivered by Daniel Gallagher where Christy Mc Daid Rose well to heads home and put Rovers in front. Gweedore broke fast after another Rovers Corner with Fionn Bonnar forcing Rovers keeper into making a fine save. A quick break from Gweedore in the opening minutes and a well laid of ball for Kian Mc Bride who made no mistake and levelled the score. Midway through the half a loose ball in midfield was well taken down by Christy Mc Daid for Rovers who set up Andrew Gallagher to shoot low past the keeper Doherty to put Rovers ahead again. Both defences were well tested but held firm and Rovers however were unlucky minutes from the end after Daniel Gallagher saw his shot go just over the bar.Rovers held on in the closing stages to advance to the semi final.

In cold dry conditions the visitors showed no mercy when they hit the home side for ten and opened the scoring in the first minute after a Damien Duffy cross was slotted home by Jack Mullan from close range. Conor Graham then added two goals in as many minutes firing a superb effort to the top corner before breaking through to finish past Puaric O Donnell. Stephen Duffy added a fourth with an excellent low finish after a cut back from Jay Bradley. Graham completed his hat trick on 40 minutes after being set up by Bradley before Bradley nabbed his second on the stroke of half time to leave them six nil ahead. Bradley completed his hat trick on 54 minutes before Garbhan Friel added another after O’Donnell had saved well. Late goals from Liam Grant and Christy McLaughlin completed the rout.

Clonmany got off to a flying start on 3 minutes when Paddy Doherty broke through a couple of tackles and fired a stunning effort to the top corner past Conan Doherty. They went close again then after an Alex McFadden cross saw Jamie Coyle glance a header just wide. Aileach responded and Denver Kelly fired just over from distance before Darren McMonagle under pressure from a defender managed to get a shot away which Kieran Friel reacted to get a hand to and his defence completed the clearance. Gareth McGlynnn the was off target with one effort before sending in a superb cross which found no takers.In a breakaway at the other end Jason Devlin found Coyle whose effort was well gathered by Doherty.Devlin had the final attempt of the half but saw his effort curl just past the top left hand corner. Clonmany were well in control of the game at the start of the second half and on 54 minutes Aaron Porter advanced on the left and his cross was met by Jamie McKinney whose first time effort was blocked on the line by a defender. The introduction of Caoimhin McFeely and Kevin Boyle by the visitors on 70 minutes literally turned the game on its head. Within minutes of his introduction McFeely had a snapshot turned round the post by Friel and from Daniel Dohertys corner McFeelys looping header found the net despite desperate attempts by home defenders to keep it out. Hesitancy in the home defence then in the 79th minute allowed Kevin Boyle to gain possession and he ran across the home defence before shooting back across Friel to the bottom corner. A long ball forward by the visitors defence then on 87 minutes was not dealt with by the home defenders and Darren McMonagle poked the ball past the stranded Friel from the edge of the area.

Illies began this game well but failed to create any clear chances with the home defence standing firm. The
home side settled and grew into the game and they took the lead midway through the half after a Ciaran O Kane free kick was parried by Conor Doherty only for Cian Burke to react well and head into the bottom corner. The remainder of the half was an even affair with both defences well on top. The home side began well on the resumption and on the hour mark doubled their lead. The Illies defence cleared a free kick to the edge of the area where Michael McDermott volleyed superbly low into the bottom corner. The home side had another chance after Burke broke clear but defenders recovered and the chance was lost. The visitors scored a late consolation in injury time after the Carn defence failed to cut out a long clearance allowing Jamie McDaid to race clear and drill a superb finish past Ben Miller.

The home side got off to a dream start when they scored in the opening minute. Conor Gillen broke on the right hand side and crossed for Marc Bell whose initial shot was well saved by Caolan McGrory but Bell pounced to slot home the rebound. Gavin Grant then crossed for Jack McConnellogue but he fired just wide of McGrorys left hand post. Redcastle continued to dominate and both Gavin Grant and Andrew McCarron were off target. The home side doubled their lead on 33 minutes when Gavin Grant slid the ball through for Conor Gillen to shoot low past McGrory. Greencastle started the second half well and reduced the deficit on 52 minutes when Shay Doherty cut in from the left past a defender and unleashed a superb strike to the top corner. Redcastle upped the tempo then with Josh McConnellogue denied by a good save from McGrory at full stretch. The home side made it three one on 71 minutes after Shaun Curran fed McConalogue to fire low past replacement keeper William O’Carroll. Two goals within a minute then sealed the points for the home side. On 82 minutes Darren Kelly found Shaun Curran and his cross was met by Gavin Grant who slotted past O’Carroll. Within a minute they completed the scoring with Curran collecting the ball outside the area and turning before shooting low to the bottom corner.

The Hearts almost got off to a flying start in the second minute the ball
breaking to Thomas Adair whose shot from twenty five yards struck the crossbar but the referee took play back for a free-kick. On 18 minutes it was the home side who threatened again Jerry Gill with a good run and pass to Hugh Aaron Gonigle but his goalbound shot was superbly blocked by Kieran McElroy. The visitors first opportunity arrived on 28 minutes Conor Graham’s headed just over Eoghan O’Doherty’s goal following a corner. At the other end Craig Doherty delivered a beautiful cross from the left for Liam Jordan to head wide of O’Donnel’s goal in what was a big chance for the home side. The visitors took the lead on 40 minutes with Graham crossing for Conor Allen to slot past O’Doherty. The visitors were first to threaten in the second half PJ Doherty cross found McElroy but his header produced a fine save from O’Doherty. The Hearts deservedly equalized on 62 minutes from a corner Gill’s header fell to Liam Jordan whose superb bicycle kick beat O’Donnell. But the visitors hit the front again in the 75th minute after hesitancy in the home defence allowed sub Darragh McDermott to fire beyond O’Doherty from seven yards. Five minutes later and McDermott’s free-kick was parried by O’Doherty with Allen quickest to react and fire home. The Hearts had a great chance to reduce the arrears on 83 minutes when Jordan’s free was spilled by the keeper and twice the follow up shot was blocked on the line with Elliott finally heading over. The visitors seen out the final minutes to claim the three points.

Gleneely started the game on the front foot with Cian McNamee and Paul Doherty shooting over from outside the box. Dunree’s first effort was from Patrick Doherty who just shot wide. Dunree went close again when Liam Baldrick just shot over after good work out wide to make space for the shot. Gleneely broke the deadlock in the thirty third minute when Mark Divers ball from midfield to Shane Diver, who spun the defender and then placed the ball into the bottom corner giving Philip Doherty no chance in the Dunree goal. Just before half time, a long range effort from a Dunree defender just whistled past Ciaran Gallagher’s post. Gleneely s Kyran Cantwell had two chances at the beginning of the second half, firstly firing over from the edge of the area after Cian McNamees corner and then Philip Doherty pulled off a brilliant one handed save to push his effort out for a corner. Gleneely did go two nil up on 62 minutes after Cian McNamee dispatched a free to the bottom corner from twenty yards despite Doherty getting a hand to it. John Harkin then hit the crossbar from a Cian McNamee corner. Gleneely sealed the points and on 80 minutes when Kyran Cantwell went on a run beating two defenders and then lifting the ball over Philip Doherty from eight yards.

All the goals in this entertaining clash came in the opening half. Illies got a perfect start when they took the lead on four minutes when Jamie McCauley broke clear on the left hand side and fired high past Dylan Clarke from twenty yards. But Aileach responded and levelled in the 11th minute with Oisin Kelly drilling to he roof of the net from twelve yards after the home defence failed to clear past Andrew Mclaughlin. Midway through the half the home side regained the lead after a McCauley cross from the left was steered low past Clarkey from close range by Nathan McLaughlin. But again the visitors equalized on the half hour when Aaron Dohertys cross was sidefooted home by Yanga Molodo. Five minutes later Illies made it three two with Conor Doherty firing a superb twenty five yards free to the roof of the net. Doherty then had the final chance of the half but shot straight at Clarke when well placed. Illies had the majority of possession in the second half and Caelan Whoriskey had a fine shot superbly tipped over by Clarke. On 74 minutes substitute Joe McLaughlin went close with a well struck shot which skimmed the crossbar. They almost paid the price for these misses in the final minute as Oisin Kerrigan raced into the area and his shot grazed the outside of the post.

In a tight opening half there were few chances at either end with defences generally on top. The home side had the first opening of the game midway through the half when Ivan Smith found Cahir McElhinney who released Cathal Crumlich between defenders but his low effort was turned behind by Torin Harkin. Clonmany responded on 33 minutes with Ben Gill feeding Oisin Hession in space outside the area and his well struck effort was gathered by Ciaran Bonner in the home goal. Carrowmena pushed hard for the opening goal before the break but failed to trouble Harkin as the half ended scoreless. The second half continued in the same fashion with defences well on top and the majority of the play in the midfield area. The home side snatched all three points on 82 minutes after McElhinneys free into a crowded area was parried by Harkin and in the scramble Rhus Davenport back heeled the ball to the net from point blank range.

Culdaff began well and Bryan McCandless headed narrowly wide following a corner. The home side responded with a corner of their own which fell to the edge of the area and
Conor Barrow s effort was off target. The point opened the scoring on 12 minutes after Simon Wallace s effort was parried by Patrick McLaughlin but Barrow neatly tucked home the rebound. Culdaff responded and when McCandless bore down on goal his low effort was saved by the outstretched leg of Cian Breslin. Almost immediately play swung to the other end with Adam Harkin playing the ball through for Barrow to finish well. Barrow then completed his hat trick breaking clear on the left and shooting to the top corner. The same player added his fourth before the break converting a pass from Harkin on the edge of the area. Culdaff had the first opportunity of the second half and were unlucky when a Jack Curley effort crashed off the post and they couldn’t force the rebound home. Midway through the half the home side completed the scoring after Barrow beat the offside trap and raced clear to lob the advancing McLaughln.

In a quiet first half the Luke McFadden for the visitors saw a dangerous cross well gathered by Oran Doherty in the home goal. At the other end a David O Hagan effort was well saved by Vernon Kelly. Kelly was again called into action before the break when a mazy run and shot from Paul Jackson was well saved by the keeper. Moville took the lead in the 58th minute when McFadden converted a penalty after a handball inside the area. Midway through the half the visitors doubled their lead when McFadden advanced into the area and drilled low past Doherty from fourteen yards. The home side tried to respond but the closes they came was when McDaid fired just over the bar as the visitors saw out the remainder of the game to claim the points.

Played in windy and a constant the drizzle there was very little action in the opening half. Carn had an early chance after Matthew McLaughlin broke clear of the home defence but was denied by a good save from Sam Coyle in the home goal. On 21 minutes Conor Doherty s cross found Mclaughlin but he was crowded out by a number of defenders and the chance was lost. The home side then opened the scoring on 36 minutes after a powerful strike from substitute Damien Friel was parried by keeper Jack O Brien but Shea Grant pounced to slam the rebound home to leave the home side ahead at the break. Rashenny began the second half well and increased their lead when Shea Grant cut in from the right past a couple of defenders before slotting low past O’Brien. They made it three nil then after a superb diagonal ball from Gareth McKeever found David McLaughlin on the edge of the area to shoot to the roof of the net. Carn responded and both Conor Doherty and substitute Dermot Doherty fired over the bar when well placed on each occasion. Rashenny killed the game off then after Mclaughlin released Grant to run into the area and complete his hat trick with a low finish. Grant and Mclaughlin then combined to leave McKeever with a simple close range finish for the fifth goal. They completed the scoring with another substitute Ryan O Donnell advancing from midfield and firing low past O’Brien from twenty two yards for an emphatic victory.
