Sea Rovers                             1

Redcastle  United                  1

Redcastle were first to threaten when Brendan Murphy broke on the right but his low cross was headed clear by Graham Morgan. Rovers took over for the remainder of the half and broke the dead lock on 21 minutes when a Liam Gallagher cross found Kieran Doherty whose initial effort was blocked but he collected the rebound and rounded Michael McCole to score. Damien Ward then saw a twenty five yards effort tipped round by McCole before John C Doherty looked destined to score but the ball bobbled in front of him and the chance was lost. Redcastle came more into the game with Murphy and Ryan Duffy prominent but were restricted to a few long range efforts. They got back on  terms  when after a low delivery from a corner Murphy flicked the ball home at the near post. In the closing stages both teams had claims for a penalty waved away but in the end a share  of the spoils was a fair result.
