Buncrana started the second period well pushing the visitors back but they failed to create any clear chances. On 66 minutes Eugene McLaughlin sent Brendan McLaughlin away on the left and when his dangerous cross was parried by Wilson the loose ball was slotted home by Brian McCandless. Thehome side hit back and substitute Christopher Mc Kinley fired just wide from the edge of the area. The visitors increased their lead when Gary Collins crossed from the right for McLaughlin to slot home from close range. Statement from the Inishowen Football League

The Inishowen Football League Management Committee , after consultation with all clubs, have decided to cancel the 2020- 2021 season . The leagues proposal was unanimously backed by the clubs. Given the recent government announcement it is hoped that clubs will be able to have a “normal”
pre-season in July in advance of the 2021-2022 season commencing in mid August. The league management would like to thank the clubs  for their co-operation in this process. As the Ulster Cup & Shield Competitions from 2019-2020 season were at an advanced stage the league will liaise  with the Ulster FA with a view to completing these competitions. League Management would also urge all clubs to continue to follow all the guidelines as laid out in the FAI return to train protocols. A  date for the AGM will be circulated to clubs  in due course.
