Home side had a bright start to this game and on 6mins in took the lead when Trevor Kane found the head of Christie Mc Geoaghan he flicked on for Paddy Craig to volley home past the keeper Home side will be left wondering how it wasn’t two nil, few minutes later again Trevor Kanes long ball over the top, found Jude Harkin he skipped past his marker and with only keeper to beat from 8 yrds some how hit the ball wide – this spurred QPS on and on the 17th , got their first goal, ball pushed through the middle found Josh Mc laughlin he slipped through the defence and slotted ball past the outrushing Mc Geady for 1-1 The away side took the lead in the 23rd min after the ball failed to be cleared out from Carrowmena’s defence – Joe Johnsonl toe- poked home for 1-2 Qps then scored 2 quick goals on 35 & 39 , the 3rd a header in over the keeper from a corner and good work by Johnston to cross to Paul Hegarty to slott home for 1-4 QPS, pushed from the start of the second half and 2 quick goals coming 47 & 50 mins , a 25yrd shot , low from James Mc Creadie wrong footing the home keeper and no 6 was crossed in from the corner beating the defender for Joe Johnston rushing in at back post , to drill home 1-6 Home side rallied and brought the score line bac to 3-6 , 65mins Conor Lafferty slipped the left to Jude Harkin, whom made good work, weaving in &and out past QPS defence and drilled a low shot to the far corner, 3rd goal for home side came about, 70th min again Trevor kane’s long ball found Paddy Craig he turned and chipped ball to find the inrushing Christie Mc Geoaghan.
