Report

In an entertaining game it was evenly balanced throughout with no chances in the opening half and defences on top in a scoreless first half. In the second period Gregory Doherty had two free kicks well held by Liam McGonigle in the opening part of the second half. The best chance of the game fell to the visitors on 75 minutes when Michael Harkin unleashed a twenty five yards effort which David McGeady tipped over at full stretch.  Overall a draw was a fair result.
