It ended honours even at Glencrow but the visitors have keeper Michael McCole to thank in the main for salvaging a share of the spoils. Moville started well with Conor Doherty going close before Jack keys had an inswinging corner crash off the bar. The home side took the lead on 14 minutes after Michael McNaught chased his own pass forward and crossed for Finn McLaughlin to sidefoot home. Redcastle replied midway through the half with a Shaun Curran free just past the angle.Moville finished the half the stronger and John Gillen had a header saved by McCole before seeing another powerful effort brilliantly saved by the netminder. McCole made two saves in as many minutes after the restart to deny Conor Doherty and McLaughlin before the best save of the game when he made a stunning reaction save to deny McLaughlin from point blank range. Redcastle hit back and Curran was off target from distance before Brendan Murphy headed over from a good positions. At the other end McCole made a superb save to deny McLaughlin and McNaughts follow up crashed off the post.
